Born in 2007, LCD television now rules the hearts and the markets. Such has been its success that the industry players struggled hard to come up with the advanced versions called LED's. With its beautiful look, better picture quality and small size, LCD's and LED's are now favourites of all. A Few years ago, the high definition televisions were only for the rich guys, but now the case is different, everyone can afford these screens in their homes. The advantages of these televisions are numerous; the greatest being clear and crisp picture. Flat televisions do not have cathode ray tube. Instead, they have small layer of liquid crystals sandwiched between polarizing filters. These liquid crystals are then polarized to produce red-green-blue colors. These crystals generate pixels on the screen. Each pixel emits lights for 20 minutes. LCD TV's can show up to 50 frames/second. This increases the quality of picture and comfortable for eyes. This wave of the future comes with rich styles giving an individual enough avenue to choose the best.
